President Donald Trump is planning to sign a new executive order that will restrict the issuing of a variety of immigration visas until the end of the year. The visa restrictions are intended to assist American workers to reenter the workforce after being displaced from their jobs during the coronavirus pandemic.

Reports indicate that the planned executive order will apply new restrictions to the issuing of H-1B, H-2B, L-1 and other temporary work visas, although there will be exceptions to the restrictions.

White House liberal Jared Kushner is known to have led a pro-business push to undermine President Trump’s desire for more immigration restrictions during the coronavirus pandemic, seeking to deliver a generous supply of foreign labor to Silicon Valley tech executives who have shown a preference for hiring the de facto indentured servants over American workers.
