Democrats have repeatedly claimed to be the party of the little guy, and against corporations, but is that truly the case? Does that explain why most corporate executives are registered democrats, and how most of them donate and support Democrats, NOT Republicans? Does that explain how the Democrats get more corporations that pay their party and politicians and support the democrat’s agenda?
Ultimately, while the Democrats try to paint the Republicans as the party of big corporations, it is ironically the democrats who are in the pocket of big money, whether it be Hollywood, unions, manufacturers, Wall Street, and other big-money corporate big wigs!
Now, the American Lookout has revealed that…
Democrats claim to be the party of the middle class and the little guy, but in case you haven’t noticed, that’s simply not true. Their next debate is in Charleston, South Carolina and if you want to attend, it’s going to cost you a lot of cash. Tickets are going to sponsors. The cost? Thousands of dollars.
WCSC News reported that…
Want a guaranteed seat at the Democratic debate in Charleston? It’ll cost a lot of cash.
Voters hoping to attend the Democratic presidential debate in Charleston this month will be hard-pressed to find guaranteed tickets unless they pay thousands of dollars as a sponsor.
The last presidential debate before the South Carolina Democratic primary will be on Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. at the Gaillard Center.
Voters Emily Kiley and Peter Davis have been volunteering and supporting Bernie Sanders’s campaign for months.
“We watch every debate that goes on so now that one’s coming to Charleston that’s insanely exciting,” Kiley said. “Of course the first thing we do is look for tickets.”
The couple has signed up to be a part of more than 800 volunteers to help set up or work the debate.
“But there’s no access to tickets on any Democratic site that we could see,” Kiley said.
That’s because tickets aren’t readily available. The Charleston County Democratic Party website says “The only guaranteed way to get a ticket is to become a sponsor of the debate.”
Sponsorship ranges from $1,750 to $3,200 each for attendance to multiple “First in the South” events.
Therefore, while they claim to be fighting for the poor, the working class, and the average American, they are actually lying, and trying to project their own questionable connections onto their political opponents!
WHY WOULD BIG CORPORATE DONORS SUPPORT THE DEMOCRATS? In reality, it is because the Democrats are promising to give away healthcare, college tuition, food, and countless other things, which would come out of the taxpayer’s pockets, further enriching the top corporate elites in the companies and all at the expense of the workers and poorer Americans for the companies
Throughout the history of America, taxation has been one of the most controversial and divisive topics that have been addressed by our government. Even before America became America, the colonies were so outraged, that the British government not only burdened them with outrageous taxation but failed to represent the very people who paid those cumbersome taxes. As a result, the untrained colonists rose up and defeated the most powerful military force of its time. Over the years, our Union has grown, and likewise, the Federal Government has evolved and grown into the massive and bloated bureaucracy that we see today.
Unfortunately, as the size of government grows, the massive amounts of money required to keep that government going increase. The greater the government becomes, the fewer private jobs there are, and the more federal jobs become available. The more Federal jobs available, the government requires more financing from its citizens. As a result, ‘We the People’ are stuck with the ever-growing and burdensome price tag, despite a shrinking Middle Class and a growing number of Lower-Income Americans. Democrats have fought for and promoted increased types of taxation, as well as amounts of taxation! Taxes like…
Federal Income Tax, State Income Tax, Sales Taxes, Air Transportation Taxes, Biodiesel Fuel Taxes, Building Permit Taxes, Business Registration Fees, Capital Gains Taxes, Cigarette Taxes, Court Fines (indirect taxes), Disposal Fees, Dog License Taxes, Drivers License Fees, Employer Health Insurance Mandate taxes (technically illegal), Employer Medicare Taxes, Employer Social Security Taxes, Environmental Fees, Estate Taxes, Excise Taxes on Comprehensive Insurance Plans, Environmental Fees, Federal Unemployment Taxes, Fishing License Taxes, Flush Taxes (YES THIS ACTUALLY EXISTS IN SOME AREAS), Food and Beverage License Fees, Franchise Business Taxes, Garbage Taxes, Gasoline Taxes, Gift Taxes, Gun Ownership Permits, Hazardous Material Disposal Fees, Highway Access Fees, Hotel Taxes (becoming large in some areas), Hunting License Taxes, Fishing Taxes, Import Taxes, Individual Health Insurance Mandate Taxes, Inheritance Taxes, Insect Control Hazardous Materials Licenses, Inspection Fees, Insurance Premium Taxes, Interstate User Diesel Fuel Taxes, Inventory Taxes, IRA Early Withdrawal Taxes, Library Taxes, License Plate Fees, Liquor Taxes, Local Corporate Taxes, Local Income Taxes, Local School Taxes, Local Unemployment Taxes, Luxury Taxes, Marriage License Fees, Medicare Taxes, Medicare Tax Surcharge on High Earning Americans Under Obamacare, Obamacare Individual Excise Tax (If you don’t buy ‘qualifying’ health insurance under Obamacare, you will have to pay an ADDITIONAL TAX), Obamacare Surtax on Investment Income (a new 3.8% surtax on investment income), Parking Meter Tax, Passport Fee Tax, Professional Licenses and Fees (another form of taxation), Property Taxes, Real Estate Taxes, Recreational Vehicle Taxes, Registration Fees for New Businesses, Toll Booth Taxes, Sales Taxes, Self-Employment Taxes, Sewer and Water Taxes, School Taxes, Septic Permit Taxes, Service Charge Taxes, Social Security Taxes, Special Assessments for Road Repairs or Construction, Sports Stadium Taxes, State Corporate Taxes, State Park Entrance Fees, State Unemployment Taxes, Tanning Taxes (A new Obamacare tax on tanning services), Telephone 911 Service Taxes, Telephone Federal Excise Taxes, Telephone Federal Universal Service Fee Taxes, Telephone Minimum Usage Surcharge Taxes, Telephone State and Local Taxes, Telephone Universal Access Taxes, The Alternative Minimum Tax, Tire Recycling Fees, Tire Tax, Tolls (Another form of taxation), Traffic Fines (Indirect taxation), Use Taxes (Out of State Purchases, etc.), Utility Taxes, Vehicle Registration Taxes, Waste Management Taxes, Water Rights Fees, Watercraft Registration and Licensing Fees, Well Permit Fees, Workers Compensation Taxes, and Zoning Permit Fees, and Federal Corporate Taxes (Which are passed down to the consumer).
In addition, our Government has TAXES ON TOP OF TAXES:
IRS Interest Charges, and IRS penalties.
Furthermore, some taxes like Sales Tax can be charged multiple times to the same owner. For example…
if you purchase a car in Missouri and pay sales tax when licensing and registering your vehicle, and then move to another State like Louisiana. They will then charge you sales tax on the same vehicle, despite the fact that you already own the vehicle.
In a nutshell, AMERICANS ARE TAXED, TAXED MORE, AND THEN TAXED YET AGAIN. Yet still, we see our government spending beyond their financial means and bloating our National Debt to nearly $20 +Trillion dollars. Congress and Congress alone control how much they tax, and how much they spend. They make decisions that dictate our financial success or ruin as a country. Moreover, they spew the same FAKE POLITICAL LIES AND SPIN about the solution is to tax more and more. They expect American families to cinch up their financial belts and make wise financial decisions. However, in the real world, Americans have been taxed to death, the middle class is shrinking, and they are trying to create a war between the rich Corporations and Businesses, and ‘We the People’. In order to see the truth, we have to dig down and see what the Political Elitists don’t want us to see.
Since the inception of Income Taxation, Progressive’s have pushed the narrative that Republican Conservatives are out to give enormous tax breaks for the rich and sticking it to the middle class and poor. They try to create class warfare between the rich and poor by claiming that ‘the rich need to pay their fair share. They claim to represent the Middle Class in America, but is that who they truly are fighting for?
Over the years, the tax structure has fluctuated, but in general, it has become more and more Progressive, and the overall burden of taxation has shifted to the Middle Class. In the following visual, you can see that American’s today who make less than $40,000 in income after deductions actually get paid money that was taken from the Middle and Upper-Middle Class American workers. The American’s who finance our government, schools, etc., make $40,000 and more. The more money you make, the more money you pay in. It is called a Progressive tax, and it shifts money from one group of higher-paid American workers to another group of lower-paid or unemployed workers. In fact, over 50% of Americans actually get paid money through taxes that somebody else earned.
So is the Democrat’s statement that the RICH DON’T PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE, an accurate statement? Actually, it is a true statement, but they use it to twist and distort reality in order to further push their Progressive-Socialist agenda. Here are the facts…
It is true that the wealthiest of Americans manage to pay less in taxes than some of their employees. Not necessarily if you go by dollar to dollar amounts, but certainly if you go by percentage of incomes. In fact, American’s for Fair Tax show:
- The richest 1% of Americans own 35% of the nation’s wealth. The bottom 80% own just 11% of the nation’s wealth.
- In the 1950s and 1960s, when the economy was booming, the wealthiest Americans paid a top income tax rate of 91%. Today, the top rate is 43.4%.
- The richest 1% pay an effective federal income tax rate of 24.7% in 2014; someone making an average of $75,000 is paying a 19.7% rate.
- The average federal income tax rate of the richest 400 Americans was just 20 percent in 2009.
- Taxing investment income at a much lower rate than salaries and wages are taxed loses $1.3 trillion over 10 years.
- 1,470 households reported income of more than $1 million in 2009 but paid zero federal income taxes on it.
- CEOs of major corporations earn nearly 300 times more than an average worker.
- 30 percent of income inequality is due to unfair taxes and budget cuts to services and benefits.
- The largest contributor to increasing income inequality has been changes in income from capital gains and dividends.
Democrats have pushed a Federal Income Tax designed to be progressive, but is it TRULY PROGRESSIVE FROM TOP TO BOTTOM? In reality, it isn’t! Over the years, Elitists in Washington have sold out to rich Elitists, and the result can be seen in Washington D.C. as Politicians have transformed from men and women who represent ‘We the People’ to Establishment Elitist Politicians who represent Special Interests, Lobbyists, and ESPECIALLY THEMSELVES. They likely arrived in Washington with the best interests of representing the people, but over the years they became accustomed to the power and money that has saturated Washington D.C. They arrive as average American citizens and leave as part of the Wealthy Elitist Political Class. They usually don’t want to give up power, influence, or money. And most frightening, they are many times willing to sell out the needs of the country and the citizens whom they represent. The results of their betrayal can be seen in the shrinking Middle Classes that we are witnessing today. The Lower Impoverished Class is growing as the Middle and Upper Middle Classes are shrinking, Private Sector jobs are dying and succumbing to the governmental Public jobs.
Meanwhile, we hear the Progressive Democrats claim that we need to stick it to the Private Sector employers and Corporations because they need to pay their fair share. They claim that they are the rich because they make over 250,000, or even over a million. In reality, it is not quite that simple. Businesses who make that kind of money do not actually take home that kind of cash. They bring in a lot of money, but after overhead, salaries, and other expenses, the owner’s take-home pay is much lower. Then, our government claims that they are too rich, and sticks them with paying the bulk of America’s taxes. Meanwhile, the multi-millionaires, billionaires, and Political-Elitist Class utilize their money to hire the best legal minds to avoid paying much in taxes themselves. The result is, that while the truly wealthy millionaires, billionaires, and politicians, along with the poorest American’s pay little to no tax, the self-employed, business owners, and job creators in the Middle Class, get stuck in the back by paying the bulk of America’s taxation.
Then, the Progressive-Democrats and RINOS move on to claiming the wealthy Corporations don’t pay their fair share in taxes either. Sounds logical on the surface, but when you dig down further, do Corporations actually pay taxes at all? In reality, they do not. Corporate taxes are a nifty way for Progressive’s to stick it to the Middle Class and Poor once again. Politicians know that they can tax Corporations millions of dollars, but in the end, they are raising taxes on ‘We the People’. Actually, Corporations pay those millions of dollars in taxes and then pass those taxes onto the consumers who buy their products or services. Therefore, it is a cleverly disguised tax on American’s that seems like it is coming from businesses, BUT IT IS ACTUALLY COMING FROM POLITICAL ELITISTS who want to FINANCE THEIR POLITICAL CAREER, PAY OFF SPECIAL INTERESTS, AND BLOAT THE GOVERNMENT EVEN FURTHER, WHILE SHRINKING THE PRIVATE SECTOR.
Progressive-Democrats try to convince American’s that Conservatives are evil because they try to protect the wealthy Corporations. If that is the case, why do Corporations emphatically support and finance Progressive-Democrat candidates? It seems contradictory for Conservatives to fight for the rights of Corporations, and Corporations to support Progressive Democrats. Do they like being taxed to death? Actually, it is because their personal taxes are minimized by the Progressive-Democrat policies, and those taxes are shifted to their Corporations, which they can pass down to the Middle and Lower Income Americans. Corporate Leaders support Progressive-Democrats because they enrich them, and Corporate Leaders enrich and finance Democrats and their political campaigns. It is a win, win for both Corporations and Democrats.
Democrats also claim that Conservatives fight for the wealthy, but Democrats blur the lines between the wealthy and the Middle Class. Any time tax cuts are proposed for the Middle Class by Conservatives, Progressive Democrats say that it is just another tax cut for the rich. They begin throwing out figures like:
The overall share of taxes paid by the top 1% and the top 5% is about their share of total income. This shows that the tax system is not progressive when it comes to the wealthy. The richest 1% pay an effective federal income tax rate of 24.7%. That is a little more than the 19.3% rate paid by someone making an average of $75,000. And 1 out of 5 millionaires pays a lower rate than someone making $50,000 to $100,000.
The figures they use are very accurate, but it is ironic since it is the Progressive Democrats who fight to keep the top 1% from paying taxes. They fight to protect the Elite Class and then try to implement their usual ‘DISTRACT & SWITCH’ tactic, so they can make the Conservatives seem like the culprits for what they are actually doing themselves. After all, it has been an effective ‘Hallmark Tactic’ that they have utilized to blame the Republicans for the KKK, racism, and other political atrocities in the United States.
The problem with our Government today is that as American’s are taxed to death, our government continues to outspend the money that we are paying in. As a result, our national debt is growing to astronomical proportions. In fact, you can see from the visual below that if the typical American family spent like our Federal Government, we not only would spend beyond our means, interest debt would grow rapidly, and our debt would be near impossible to pay off.
As American’s, it is our responsibility to elect leaders into office who will be responsible for our money. It is time to set term limits for Congressional Leaders so we can end the Political Elitist Class in America, and have Politicians who fight for their constituents. It is time to elect a government that has ‘We the People’s’ interests in mind when passing tax legislation. We need leaders who will look to save taxpayers money, rather than spend while looking out for the millionaires and billionaires who finance their campaigns, and shower them with money and luxury. It is time for American’s to learn the hard truth about the Progressive-Elitist Democrats and RINO Republicans who seek to distort the truth and deceive America into believing that they have their best interests in mind. It is time for American’s to purge our government of Politicians who are in office to fulfill their own self-serving ends. It is time to purge our government of Progressive-Socialists who are trying to make not only our hard-earned income but our liberties as well.
