In December, Democrat Judiciary Chair Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) opened his committee impeachment hearing by stating…

“We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems.”

FOX News reported:

“We cannot rely on an election to solve our problems, when the president threatens the very integrity of that election,” House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said in his opening statement, claiming Trump’s discussions with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about Joe and Hunter Biden’s dealings in the country, and the White House’s temporary withholding of military aid to Ukraine, constituted an “urgent” threat to national security.

“This committee now owes it to the American people to give these articles careful attention,” Nadler added at the beginning of the markup for the impeachment articles, which included obstruction of Congress and abuse of power.

It rings back to mid-2019 when Rep. Al Green stated on MSNBC that…

“I’m Concerned If We Don’t Impeach This President, He Will Get Re-Elected”

In fact, at one point, Al Green told the MSNBC host…

“As I look the people of America in the eye, I’m telling you, we have a constitutional crisis,” Green said. “We must impeach this president. If you don’t, it’s not the soul of the nation that will be at risk only, it is the soul of the Congress that’s at risk.”

The Host responded by stating…

You have been calling for starting articles of impeachment since 2017, but a new Quinnipiac poll taken after the release of the redacted Mueller report said 66% say Congress should not start impeachment proceedings, there’s a sharp partisan divide, with only 4% of Republicans favoring impeachment. Are you afraid this talk will help the president’s re-election?

Rep Green replied…

I’m concerned that if we don’t impeach this president, he will get re-elected. If we don’t impeach him, he will say he’s been vindicated. He will say the Democrats had an overwhelming majority in the House and didn’t take up impeachment. He will say we have a constitutional duty to do it if it was there and we didn’t. He will say he’s been vindicated.

Apparently, the Democrats don’t trust the American people to do what they want, and that is elect a Democrat! After all, unless they regain power, their Socialist and Marxist plans for America are impossible! Regardless, at least it explains why they are pushing this sham impeachment so very hard!
