The Satanic Temple in Missouri, which is based out of Salem, Massachusetts, is challenging a new state law that requires women seeking an abortion to wait three days, as the anti-Christian group claims that it violates a women’s religious freedoms! In addition, they are challenging the new Missouri rule that requires that abortion clinics inform a woman of all their options, prior to being allowed to seek an abortion, even though that rule gives a woman a well-informed choice of what avenues are available, other than abortion itself, as well as, all the details about what abortion involves!

The Satanic group appealed to the Eighth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals on behalf of a woman listed as “Judy Doe” as they allege that Missouri is violating women’s First Amendment right to religious freedom.

Life Site News reported…

The left-wing secular advocacy group Satanic Temple filed a lawsuit against the state of Missouri in hopes of overturning its requirement that women be given critical information before going through with aborting their children.

Missouri law places a 72-hour waiting period on abortion and requires abortionists to provide women considering abortion with information about its medical risks and the humanity of the preborn child, including a definitive statement that “the life of each human being begins at conception. Abortion will terminate the life of a separate, unique, living human being.”

The Satanic Temple, which doesn’t believe the supernatural literally exists but embraces Satan’s name as a “symbol of the Eternal Rebel in opposition to arbitrary authority,” announced this week that it’s suing over the law on behalf of a member who was subjected to its provisions while seeking an abortion (the statement doesn’t mention whether she ultimately aborted her child).

The law’s affirmation of preborn life is a statement of fact backed by settled science, but the Temple claims it was actually “religious content,” the requirement of which was deemed constitutes “impermissible state adoption of a theory when life begins” by the Eight Circuit Court of Appeals in 1989.

“The only way for The Satanic Temple to lose this case is if the Eighth Circuit reverses itself, which is highly unusual, or goes to impossibly great lengths to avoid ruling on the issues it is being presented with,” Temple spokesperson Lucien Greaves claimed. “While I don’t put it past the courts, I am optimistic that the Eighth Circuit will adhere to the law and The Satanic Temple will prevail.”

This isn’t the first time that the Satanic Temple has tried to advance abortion policies like abortion on demand, as well as, try to hide the facts behind abortion from women who seek options!

Sadly, Life Site noted that…

In April, the U.S. Internal Revenue Service (IRS) formally recognized it as a church despite its explicitly-secular nature and failure to meet the IRS’s usual criteria for churches. The new status is expected to aid the group in its legal claims in cases such as its placing of Satanic statues in the state capitals of Arkansas and Illinois.

Sadly, with the help of hate-groups like the Satanic Temple, and promoted by the Democrat Party, the number one cause of death around the globe is no longer heart disease or cancer, plagues or even unhealthy living! Instead, abortion has now racked up more of a body count than any of those diseases or health problems!

In fact, Life News reported that…

More human beings died in abortions than any other cause of death in 2018, a new report indicates.

A heartbreaking reminder about the prevalence of abortion, statistics compiled by Worldometers indicate that there were nearly 42 million abortions world-wide in 2018. The independent site collects data from governments and other reputable organizations and then reports the data, along with estimates and projections, based on those numbers.

Also, Breitbart News contrasted the number of abortions to other causes of death, including cancer, HIV/AIDS, traffic accidents and suicide, and found that abortions far outnumbered every other cause.

The report states…

As of December 31, 2018, there have been some 41.9 million abortions performed in the course of the year, Worldometers revealed. By contrast, 8.2 million people died from cancer in 2018, 5 million from smoking, and 1.7 million died of HIV/AIDS. …

It also records the total number of abortions in the world, based on the latest statistics on abortions published by the World Health Organization (WHO).

Globally, just under a quarter of all pregnancies (23 percent) were ended by abortion in 2018, and for every 33 live births, ten infants were aborted.

Ultimately, to the likely pride of those members of the Satanic Temple, Satan himself is winning this war on earth, but it is a war that will continue to rage on, as true Christians continue to fight each battle as if lives depends on it… BECAUSE LIVES DO!
