The movie “Unplanned”, which is based on the life of a former Planned Parenthood director Abby Johnson, is set to open nationwide on March 29th! The movie follows her journey from a pro-choice advocate, and the life-changing events that led her to become a strict abortion critic. The full-feature film is set to be released on a total of 800 screens on March 29, and is being distributed by PureFlix, which is a Christian movie studio that produces, distributes, and acquires “Christ-centered movies.” The movie trailer gives a sneak-peek into one of the most important and eye-opening insights into the world of Planned Parenthood and the act of abortion itself…

PureFlix President Michael Scott told the Hollywood reporter that…

“This story needs to be told and the message needed to be delivered. It is our calling as Christians to tell the story about the moral implications of abortion that the mainstream media refuses to acknowledge.”

Then, in the words of Abbey herself, she explains the moment that her heart knew that she could no longer be pro-abortion…

The actress Ashley Bratcher shared how playing the part of Abby has changed her lifeM and revelations that came up about her birth…

However, with no surprise, the pro-abortion new-radically controlled left-leaning Hollywood immediately attacked the film and the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) assigned it an R rating, as they ironically cited it with the Restricted rating because they said that it contains “some disturbing/bloody images.”

The ‘unplanned production team’s Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman who were co-writers and co-directors of the film. pushed back at the MPAA rating, as they said…

“We consider the MPAA’s current standards to be deeply flawed, insofar as they allow scenes of remarkably graphic sex, violence, degradation, murder and mayhem to have a PG-13 rating, whereas our film, highlighting the grave dangers of abortion in a straightforward manner, is considered dangerous for the American people to view.”

The Hollywood Reporter journalist said

“The film tells the true story of Abby Johnson, who defected from Planned Parenthood to become a pro-life activist. While the filmmakers were certain they were making a PG-13 film, the MPAA has informed them that it will, in fact, be rated R unless all scenes of abortions are removed or altered.”

Regardless, PureFlix has said that they will not alter the finished product, and they are unlikely to appeal the R rating, as it would only delay the release! Also, a number of those involved in the movie believe that the R rating could have a positive outcome for PureFlix. For example, the filmmakers explained to MovieGuide.org, which is a family-oriented review site that…

“Unplanned is an R rated film which has no MPAA cautions for profanity, nudity, sex or violence — except for violence directly associated with the abortion process. Ironically, the MPAA seems to be indirectly endorsing the pro-life position: namely that abortion is an act of violence.”

The movie was filmed in Oklahoma, and one of the major investors is Mike Lindell, a Christian entrepreneur and the CEO of MyPillow. Also, the producers revealed that they plan to invite President Trump to the debut! Also, “Unplanned” was able to secure early screenings at the Conservative Political Action Conference at National Harbor, Maryland, and the Heritage Foundation in the last few months.

Ultimately, “Unplanned” was given an R rating for purely political reasons, but that rating is likely to backfire, as the director said that now parents and their children will have to watch the movie together, and then have “the talk” about abortion! However, that isn’t the only roadblock placed in front of the release of the movie! In fact, traditional outlets to advertise have blocked and blacklisted the movie trailer, and major tv networks like the Hallmark Channel, Up TV, and Lifetime and the Lifetime Movie Network, refused to air spots for the feature. The upcoming “Roe v. Wade” film is also experiencing mounting pressure, as the pro-abortion groups and money are pushing back against anything that questions abortions lack of merits! Also, six major music publishers refused to allow their songs for the soundtrack, with some of them citing the contentious nature of the story. The production team hoped to include hits like Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Want To Have Fun”! However, the left-wing music industry rejected their access to the rights!

In the end, “Unplanned” is expected to have huge sales at the box office, which would be a slap in the face of all those left-wing radicals who will do anything to prevent the public from knowing the truth about abortion! Until then, spread the word, as tickets have already gone on sale around the nation, and you can reserve your tickets at www.unplanned.com
