Over the past few years, Democrats like now House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer have proclaimed that $20 to $25 billion for a border wall is an irresponsible use of the taxpayer’s money. It is quite ironic for them to play the ‘good stewards’ of taxpayer money since it is their leadership and their party who employed excessive ‘tax and spend’ philosophy which ballooned the debt of our nation to nearly $20 Trillion. However, it is also ironic that even today, as the acting so-called good stewards of ‘We the Peoples’ money, they refuse to spend even $5 billion for the border wall, while not the building a wall COSTS THE AMERICA TAXPAYERS $168 BILLION IN 2018 AND LIKELY MORE, WITH $53.4 BILLION IN REMITTANCES IN 2018 ALONE.

The IRLI (Immigration Reform Law Institute) and the World Bank Group found that the cost of illegal immigration to the American taxpayers exceeds more than $168 Billion a year, and appears to be skyrocketing, especially with the massive numbers of not just people, but caravans forming in 2018, as they barreled towards the US border. Furthermore, it is a trend that is likely to accelerate in the coming months and years.

Also, the study found that the taxes paid by Americans throughout each state and the nation fall short of the cost of illegal immigration on federal, state, and local governments…

  • The staggering total costs of illegal immigrants and their children outweigh the taxes paid to federal and state governments by a ratio of roughly 7 to 1, with costs at nearly $135 billion compared to tax revenues at nearly $19 billion.
  • All told, the nearly $135 billion paid out by federal and state and local taxpayers to cover the cost of the presence of 12.5 million illegal aliens and their 4.2 million citizen children amounts to approximately $8,075 per illegal alien and citizen child prior to taxes paid, or $6,940 per person after taxes are paid.
  • On the federal level, medical ($17.14 billion) is by far the highest cost, with law enforcement coming second ($13.15 billion) and general government services ($8 billion) third.
  • At the state and local level, education ($44.4 billion) was by far the largest expense, followed by general public services ($18.5 billion) and medical ($12.1 billion).
  • The study also includes cost and tax revenue estimates per state. The top three states based on total cost to state taxpayers for illegal immigrants and their children: California ($23 billion); Texas ($10.9 billion), and New York ($7.5 billion).

Democrats and their Progressive-Socialist allies in the Mainstream Media and throughout the world are fighting against the wall, because the call it not only too expensive, which we now know to be untrue, but inhumane and evil. However, that is also not really the case. The pro-Socialist Guardian fed into this notion when they reported from Guatemala and said…

In impoverished villages such as Yalambojoch, agriculture is the only work available.

Such grinding poverty makes emigration an attractive alternative, according to the town’s mayor, Lucas Pérez. “People leave our village, find work in the US and send money to help their relatives,” said Pérez, who estimated about 200 people from the tiny village live in the United States.

The surrounding Huehuetenango province sends the largest number of migrants from the country, according to Guatemala’s foreign ministry, and evidence of the exodus is clear: Yalambojoch has no potable water or electricity, but among the wooden shacks are modern two-story houses with tiled roofs – built with remittance money from abroad.

Therefore, they make the case that open borders in the United States help to support the flailing economies, but in truth, it keeps them in a downward spiral of desperation. Those modern two-story houses with tiled roofs are financed with money from abroad, but the numbers of those homes are dwindling, as the number of small wooden shacks continue to climb. The remittance money flowing out of the United States is similar to ‘welfare’, as they become dependent on that remittance money for mere survival, and the source always dries up as illegals age, or struggle to get the money to their family on time. In the meantime, the communities, and nations grow more and more desperate, leaving them with no apparent option than to leave their homes and make the dangerous trek northward to find work. In fact, just in the last two years, the outflow of Central Americans rose by 25%, shattering the economy even more.

For example, Dale L. Wilcox, the executive director at the Immigration Reform Law Institute, pointed out the impact and devastation caused by open-borders and migration from Central America to the United States. He said…

The Organization for the Americas … cited El Salvador as the worst hit, noting that “one out of every five Salvadorans currently lives outside of the country [which has] provoked a parallel exhaustion of qualified human resources.” This, they say, had caused “a scenario in which less than 11 percent of Salvadorans [have] tertiary education.” Draining an already underdeveloped nation of its best and brightest reduces any prospect of establishing a knowledge-based economy, and disincentivizes their political elite from investing in sorely needed educational infrastructure.

This damage adds up to intellectual colonialism, in which the superpower to the north plunders and loots the skilled labor from its poorer neighbors and condemns them to a bleak future.

He went on to detail the impact it has on families as well and said…

Mexico-based journalist Robert Jay Stout shows that a full 12 percent of Mexico’s adult population is now in the United States, according to 2010 census numbers. Such mass outmigration, he found, has contributed to 40 percent of Mexico’s rural towns and villages suffering a population loss as high as 70 percent. Whole communities were uprooted.

The ongoing exodus has resulted in a dramatic increase in the number of single-parent families, homeless, and runaway children — allowing gang membership to proliferate, he says.

In all, open borders is a lose-lose for both Americans and Central and South Americans, as it strips their own families opportunities while depriving their nations of a chance for upward financial growth and success.

Also, just in 2018, countless migrant children and adults were killed as they traveled through drug cartel territory, were caught and sold into slave labor or as sex slaves. Furthermore, they had to travel across treacherous terrain with little or no food, poorly constructed shoes or protective clothing from the sun. Then, when they hit the US border, the Border Patrol (CBP) had to rescue more than 4,300 migrants who crossed into the US illegally in 2018 alone and were found in life-threatening situations. Those risks include when smugglers abandon them on vast ranches or deserts, or when they are packed like sardines as human cargo in a tractor-trailer or commercial trucks, or they try to cross the fast-moving Rio Grande.

In addition, many times when the migrants enter the United States they are indebted to the drug cartels, because they racked up debts, as they had the cartels smuggle them into the United States with a debt of $5,000 per person, with a bounty on their head if they fail to pay. Therefore, much of the money that they earn, funnels back to the drug cartels, who then smuggle more illegals into the United States, along with drugs, while selling those who don’t pay into physical and sex slavery, as payments for their debts.

Also, one of the major problems with illegal immigration, is the fact that through remittances, it provides a massive incentive for nations to export their populations to the United States, as it provides the Elitist-Political class a massive fiscal stimulus while imposing the burden on the people of their nations, with high poverty rates, increasing crime, civic turmoil, and decreasing foreign investment.

Progressive-Socialists in the Democrat Party defends their open-border idealism as being compassionate. However, in reality, their position has looted Mexico and Central American countries of their best and brightest and left those nations in a downward spiral into poverty and desperation. Therefore, it leaves the peoples throughout those Central and South American nations fighting for survival, and creates a perpetual exodus, as they try to stream northward into the United States.

Ultimately, the cost to America and Americans is becoming steeper and steeper. Progressive-Socialists who now control and dominate the coastal regions of America have a plan, and they are implementing that plan as we speak. Under Obama, their plan involved using legal migration to boost economic growth, and floods the market with white and blue-collar FOREIGN LABOR! As a result, blue-collar and white-collar manual labor and skilled labor employees would see their salaries cut, while Wall Street values and company profits would spike with the influx of dirt-cheap foreign labor. As a result, wealth gaps would widen, state and local tax burdens would deepen, education would suffer, American jobs would be lost, especially for America’s youth, and all while the Federal Government would see its power strengthened!

Furthermore, illegal immigration pushes investments away from the predominantly conservative areas of the nation, as it strengthens the power of the deep blue coastal states. In fact, Breitbart News reported how illegal immigration…

“steers investment and wealth away from towns in Heartland states because coastal investors can more easily hire and supervise the large immigrant populations who prefer to live in coastal cities. In turn, that investment flow drives up coastal real estate prices, pricing poor U.S. Latinos and blacks out of prosperous cities, such as Berkeley and Oakland.”

Progressive-Socialism is not a new revelation in today’s modern world. Sadly, the fall of the Soviet Union only marked the beginning of the attempted communist takeover of the world. Now, as their global communist aims continue to permeate the global community, they are using the United Nations and European Union to spread their pro-socialist, pro-communist agenda, and that agenda requires a flood of poorer nations and non-Christian migrants into wealthier Christian nations.

Therefore, as FAIR Director Dan Stein points out…

“Clearly, the cost of doing nothing to stop illegal immigration is far too high. President Trump has laid out a comprehensive strategy to regain control of illegal immigration and bring down these costs. Building the wall, enhancing interior enforcement and mandating national E-Verify will go a long way in bringing these ridiculously high costs under control.”

In the end, Democrats and their Global Communist allies throughout America and the world try to demonize their enemy as immoral, irrational, and evil. However, not only does the evidence show the exact opposite, it reveals a dark plot by the left to destroy capitalism, diminish freedoms, eradicate Christianity, and to amass power in the hands of the Global Elites. In the meantime, as Pelosi and Schumer lead the charge that they are good financial stewards of America’s tax dollars, they are actually draining the coffers in their quest to end American power in the world, destroy the constitution of the United States, and lead America in joining the Globalist nations of the world in installing global communism, under the helm of the United Nations.
