Jill Abramson, who is the former Executive Editor of the New York Times from 2011 to 2014, had been criticized previously for her glowing adoration for former President Barack Obama because she carried an Obama doll in her purse to “comfort her wounded soul in Trump’s America”. She was well-known for her radically left-wing socialist ideological beliefs, but this week she ripped into her former employer for its blatant ‘Trump Derangement Syndrome’. In fact, Abramson is accusing the Times of being a gang of money-hungry hacks who have sold their souls to the anti-Trump Resistance.

In Abramson’s upcoming book, Merchants of Truth, she attacks Dean Baquet, who is serving as her successor.

She states that…

“Though Baquet said publicly he didn’t want the Times to be the opposition party, his news pages were unmistakably anti-Trump. Some headlines contained raw opinion, as did some of the stories that were labeled as news analysis. The more anti-Trump the Times was perceived to be, the more it was mistrusted for being biased. (Andrew) Ochs’s vow to cover the news without fear or favor sounded like an impossible promise in such a polarized environment. The more ‘woke’ staff thought that urgent times called for urgent measures; the dangers of Trump’s presidency obviated the old standards. Given its mostly liberal audience, there was an implicit financial reward for the Times in running lots of Trump stories, almost all of them negative: they drove big traffic numbers and, despite the blip of cancellations after the election, inflated subscription orders to levels no one anticipated.”

Therefore, she cites that in addition to the ideological agenda being one of the motivations of the New York Times, the financial gain of its ‘anti-Trump’ agenda is rewarding in itself! However, Abramson says she is concerned that the offset of their ideological and financial rewards would be a crushing loss of credibility of the public and their readership.

Abramson says that the problem is that it isn’t isolated to the New York Times either, as she points out how the Washington Post also has the same credibility issues. She points out how in the Post,

“some headlines contained raw opinion, as did some of the stories that were labeled as news analysis.”

While Abramson has had her own share of ethics issues, she is obviously pushing for publicity for her new book. In fact, what better way to garner fame than selling out your friends who have proven to be as corrupt and salacious as she. After all, Abramson, as well as her former co-workers, are far from ethical. Therefore, although her criticisms of the New York Times and Washington Post are accurate, she has never been, nor is she any more ethical today than they are.

Today, Abramson is working to secure a  million dollar book deal, and as Progressive ideology has taught her, it doesn’t matter how you get there, so long as you achieve your ends, regardless of whom gets hurt.

Therefore, when she makes comments like how the “Mainstream Media have become the Opposition Party”, she speaks from her knowledge base and handing out the truth, yet for completely selfish and self-serving ends. After all, today she is proving to be a shining example of today’s ‘Progressive-Socialist’.

She goes on to point out how Trump’s call that her former employer is the “Failing Times” may be exaggerative, but she says that the President has certainly given the paper a “Trump bump”, as digital subscriptions soared in his first six months in office.

Abramson says that…

“the more anti-Trump the Times was perceived to be, the more it was mistrusted for being biased. Ochs’s vow to cover the news without fear or favor sounded like an impossible promise in such a polarized environment.”

She went on to discuss the staff at the Times, as she said the more ‘woke’ or left-wing radical staff adopted the ideal of ‘urgent times called for urgent measures’. Therefore, the New York Times staff resorted to radical measures and replaced news for an ideological opinion.

Ultimately, the New York Times, Washington Post, and other Mainstream Media outlets have resorted to Soviet Style Propaganda that blurs the lines between reality and ideological fantasy, rather than true investigative reporting. In fact, many of the true investigative reporters today are demonized by the left-wing propagandists called the Mainstream Media. For example, Project Veritas has exposed countless corruption that has perpetrated left-wing radicals, and even the DNC itself. However, because they oppose the Global and Socialist agenda, the New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, and other Mainstream Media outlets have sought out ways to try and discredit the organization, and even sue them, while claiming that undercover investigative reporting violates constitutional rights of the criminals they caught lying. For example, the Washington Post published the article…

Controversial Project Veritas hit with restraining order – WaPo

However, the suit was by a teachers union who were upset for the journalists for exposing the problems with the left-wing ‘common core’ standards, and the hidden realities that elected politicians were hiding from unsuspecting parents.

In addition, Democrats sued the investigative reporting agency for exposing a number of candidates like Claire McCaskill (D-MO), Kyrsten Sinema (D-AZ), and others who admitted on hidden camera that they were lying to the public in order to get elected.

Ultimately, President Trump was right in saying that the Mainstream Media has become the ‘opposition party’ in America. He was right to call them the ‘enemy of the people’, as they have proven to be yet another ideological arm of the Global Socialist Elites throughout America and the world. The President was not referring to all media, but simply those who put ideology over America and the American people. Only those who print or portray opinion and fiction as facts and news. Today, Americans need to wake up to the horrors and intentions of our Mainstream Media, because if they don’t, the American dream will slip right through the hands of our nation, and then when ‘We the People’ wake from our political slumber, it will ultimately be too late!
