On Wednesday in a closed-door session, Democrats in the House of Representatives once again nominated Nancy Pelosi for Speaker of the House. Pelosi has already served as Speaker from 2007 to 2011, and her win shows that the Democrat Party continues to keep all leadership positions in the hands of the coastal elites, despite their job being to represent America as a whole.

Originally, Pelosi looked to be facing a stiff challenge from a number of democrats, especially the pro-communist wing of their party, as they claimed her socialist ideals were not far-left enough for their taste. However, as she racked up support from key leadership groups within their party’s caucus, like the ‘Congressional Black Caucus’, she further solidified her position.

Now, she only needs a final House floor vote, which will take place at the beginning of the new year. Regardless, since she won the Democratic nomination, she will easily win back the gavel, as Congressional Democrats prepare to launch, one of the most massive attacks on the Executive Branch under President Trump, in American history.
