As a child, I remember and cherish the moments of honor and respect that my family instilled within me to show respect to our nation, our flag, our family, and our God. I said the pledge of allegiance, not because I had to, not because I was told to, but because it made me feel like I could give something back to those who have fought, bled, and died for our country, our freedoms, and our future. I respected others not based on the color of their skin, but because I respected all people, regardless of race, nationality, or the color of their skin. Furthermore, I was privileged to grow up during a time that I could roam our yard free, or walk to school without fear of being kidnapped, murdered, or some other horrible outcome. Unfortunately, we don’t live in those times any more.

Today, we have to be concerned with the safety of our children playing in the streets of our neighborhood or yard without a watchful eye. We have to worry about our kids playing and exploring the hallways and elevators of hotels. We have to isolate our children from the dangers and horrors that walk the streets and neighborhoods each day. Our world has become a more dangerous place over just the past 30 years. We have increased numbers of gangs and criminal elements throughout our cities. We have more porous borders with illegals who enter our country daily. Some who are trying to find a better life than they had in their own countries, but others who smuggle opioids and other drugs in the hopes of making addicts out of our youth. Illegals who are members of ruthless criminal gangs who spread violence and death throughout our American cities. Illegals who kidnap and smuggle our children for the purpose of selling them into slavery or sex trafficking. We have to worry as our children grow up, because they are introduced and exposed to things that we could never have imagined during our youth. Unfortunately, all we can do, is to teach our children right from wrong, and good from bad. We can teach our children God’s principles and model proper Christian behaviors.

As with most parents, my children will likely be preparing to run off to college in the near future, and in a time that education has become a terrifying prospect. I still remember the day when I was preparing to go off to college. My mother was worried about the choices that I would make, and the bad influences I might encounter. But, it today’s collegiate life, parents have a lot more to worry about than peer pressure and poor choices. Americans have to worry about racism and hate directed towards white children, Pro-Socialist Professors trying to confuse and brainwash our kids into believing that Capitalism is bad, history should be erased, communism and socialism are good, and armed rebellion is not only acceptable, but encouraged. Ultimately, we live in a time, where education has morphed into indoctrination. College Professor’s and Leadership are more concerned about promoting a political agenda than educating our children in math, science, history, and language arts.

Now, we have leadership in Washington that is more concerned about increasing and padding their party’s voting base, than protecting the DREAM’s of the true AMERICAN DREAMers. Our children used to be the priority of our political leadership in Washington, but as Progressive-Socialism has taken root in our Capital and throughout the most left-wing parts of our country; mass immigration, both legal and illegal, has taken priority over the well-being of our children.

On Tuesday night’s State of the Union, President Trump stated:

“”My duty… is to defend Americans,” he said. “Because Americans are dreamers too.”

In recent years, Democrats have pushed for the rights of illegal aliens over the rights of American citizens. The question is, why would the Democrats turn their backs on the American people, in favor of illegal aliens? According to a leaked memo from the Democrats premier think tank, the Center for American Progress, they told the Democrats to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.” They told the Democrats that the illegal immigrants were key to their party’s future electoral success. Therefore, as Democrats have tried to portray themselves as a party of compassion, they are truly a party of desperation. And to make matters worse, power and the struggle to maintain their control over government is their highest priority, ultimately meaning that America and American’s needs are not of the highest priority to them.

Changing laws to assist the Democrats with an extra edge in elections, is nothing new to their party. In fact, in 1933 Democrats changed the Motor-Voter law, which made voter fraud easier to commit, and more difficult to prosecute. Since then, they have utilized every resource that they have access to, so they can make sure that voter fraud is more easily perpetrated in elections. Over the years, they have fought against voter ID laws for the same reasons. Besides, why would Democrats want it to be easier to vote without the identification that shows you are a legal U.S. resident, but they don’t challenge American’s being required to have identification to show that they can legally drive. It is for more obvious reasons than some will admit. That is because they fight voter identification so they could change the electorate by importing new progressive voters.

Democrats didn’t stop there! In the 1960’s, they adopted the concept of chain-migration. Through chain migration, democrats have been able to bring new typically progressive voters into the United States in mass numbers; likewise, being able to maintain Democrat Party power throughout the government. At the same time, chain-migration has enabled drugs to pour in, terrorists to infiltrate the borders, low and non-skilled workers to flood our economy, and as a result, the safety and well-being of Americans, and our American children, to be put at risk. To what ends has this served, other than taking jobs from the middle class, and especially lower class? It has created a democratic farming system that has literally grown democrat voters, like a farmer harvests his crops.

Meanwhile, decreased security and increased joblessness of American’s, hasn’t been the only consequence of voter harvesting. The consequential outcome of ‘voter harvesting’ on our government, has resulted in the ever-increasing size of government due to non-merit based immigrants creating an exploding welfare-state. With the majority of immigrants on welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, and other social programs, the taxes in America have had an explosion in costs, and a reduction in benefits to the American taxpayer. In addition, it has ballooned our national debt at an accelerated rate. Furthermore, the Progressive-Democrats utilized the immigrants to pad the number of un-insured in America to justify the passage of Obamacare. A move that the Democrats used to justify allowing the GOVERNMENT TAKE-OVER of one of the largest segments of our American economy, and was a guarantee for the endless growth in the size and scope of the American government.

In 1965, the Democrats enacted the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), which created a flood of immigrants from countries that were hostile towards the idea American values of limited government, individualism, and a healthy respect for markets and civil society. It also skyrocketed the number of un-skilled workers in the United States. The Democrats have been quite clever and ingenious in the fact that they have pulled off the scam of a lifetime on Americans.

Obama’s DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) policy has been so important to the Left, that Democrats agreed to “refuse to offer any votes for Republican spending bills that do not offer a fix for Dreamers and instead appropriate funds to deport them.” That is, according to the left-wing progressive CAP Action Fund President Jennifer Palmieri and Executive Director Navin Nayak.

Therefore, why are Democrats refusing to offer votes for President Trump’s expanded DACA program? After all, it offers more than double the number of amnesties to DACA illegals than did Obama’s. The reasons are quite obvious, if you delve deeper into their motives. Democrats do need the DREAMers, but they also cannot afford to have their ‘vote farming’ system to be shut down. Yes, Democrats would likely gain the larger part of the 1.8 million votes right off the bat, but with President Trump’s plan, they would be required to end chain-migration, which would cut off their constant flow of millions of potential voters, year after year, permanently. In addition, President Trump has demanded an end to the visa lottery. Having a lottery system for immigration has proven to be an easy way for terrorists to penetrate our country, but it also cuts off the democrats source of even more potential voters. Then, there is the Trump wall! A wall that would also cut off the democrats flow of likely progressive voters from Mexico, Central America, and South America. The cost of the wall to democrats would be a permanent end to ‘voter farming’ from the south, ultimately cutting off one of the largest potential voter sources for the Progressive-Socialist Democrats. Therefore, President Trump may be offering them what they have been asking for with DACA, but democrats would be trading 1.8 million likely voters for what could be hundreds of millions of never-ending voters. Consequently, Trump would trade the democrats 1.8 million likely voters for millions of potential future voters, and an end to the Democrat ‘voter farms’.

To understand where the term DREAMers came from, it was a name created by the Obama Administration, and is a leftist myth. The misleading name comes from the DREAM (Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors) Act, a legislative proposal to grant underage illegals immigration amnesty. The conceit was invented to promote the illegal immigration Democrats need to win elections. They’re not the rock stars or rocket scientists people like DNC chief Tom Perez claim. The Obama Administration and DNC created the expression to imply that these illegals were gifted individuals to the United States, and we could not afford to deport them. However, DREAMers tend to be less educated and less established than most Americans. The media romanticized DREAMers, by portraying them as heroic all-American figures, worthy not just of sympathy, but also admiration. However, in truth many DREAMers seem ill-equipped for life in the United States.

Hans von Spakovsky, , a senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation and former attorney at the Department of Justice said that: ‘If you just listened to the Mainstream Media, American’s would think that the DACA recipients were mostly college-educated immigrants who were just a few years old when their parents brought them into the country illegally,” He said:

We are led to believe that most are so fully Americanized that they would now have trouble speaking their native language and are all but ignorant of their birth countries’ cultural norms. Thus, we are supposed to believe, returning them to their native lands would be a cruel hardship.

But in the real world DACA-eligible individuals are under-achievers. About 24 percent of them are functionally illiterate and 46 percent possess only “basic” English ability, he writes.

Only 49 percent of DACA beneficiaries have a high school education, even though a majority are now adults. And while military service could also qualify an illegal alien for DACA, out of the current 690,000 DACA beneficiaries, only 900 are serving in the military.

According to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, DACA “contributed to a surge of unaccompanied minors on the southern border that yielded terrible humanitarian consequences.” Given that most DACA beneficiaries are now adults, “it also denied jobs to hundreds of thousands of Americans by allowing those same jobs to go to illegal aliens.”

The memo also smears President Trump and Republicans as heartless racists playing to their supposedly bigoted voter base. The memo from the Progressive Center for American Progress, says:

The Republican Party, particularly with Trump as its leader, has been plainspoken about its disdain for immigrants and is more interested in bashing immigrants to cater to its base than it is in acknowledging that immigrants are an important part of America’s social fabric.

Meanwhile, Democrats have sided with illegals, and against Americans continually. In fact, Democrat Tom Carper (D-DE)  expressed disdain for American’s by saying: ‘dreamer’ illegal immigrants should be hired to replace millions of Americans who are too unskilled, uneducated, unethical or drugged up to work for companies. Just one example of how democrats have chosen to celebrate illegal immigrants, while condemning the American people.

Conversely, President Trump, Republicans, and their base have nog shown any “disdain for immigrants,” despite the Left trying to paint them as racist, and xenophobic (fear of illegals). Truthfully, there is no anti-immigrant fervor in America, but American’s  expect immigrants to enter the country LEGALLY! In fact, there is widespread revulsion at illegal immigration and the government’s long-running refusal to do anything about it. This backlash is exactly the reason the American people elected Trump.

Now, with the President’s DACA offer, the Democrats are painted into a corner. The president has called on bi-partisan Republican and Democrat cooperation to work toward a compromise on illegal immigration. He is calling on lawmakers to include a path to citizenship for up to 1.8 million DREAMers who “show good moral character.” He said the compromise should include an end to chain migration and the visa lottery program. Trump cited how both those programs contributed to two recent terror attacks in New York City, one where a man tried to blow up a bomb in a concourse below 42nd Street in a busy transit hub, while in the other case, a man drove a truck down a bike path to kill Americans. Trump said “It is time to begin moving towards a merit-based immigration system. A system that admits people who are skilled, who want to work, who will contribute to our society, and who will love and respect our country,”

Meanwhile, as President Trump is working with Congress to ‘Make America Great Again’, he is also trying to ‘Make America Safe Again.’ In addition we need to put ‘American’s needs first,’ and fight to make our country a place where our own American children can live the American dream. An America where they can roam our streets safely. An America where they have all the chances to learn, grow, and become anything that their heart desires. An America where they can not only dream, but dream big. Because, President Trump was right when he said “American’s are DREAMers too.”
